Parent-Child Conflict Resolution Group
This program was designed to help parents and their children resolve the ongoing conflicts in their respective homes. This program will challenge both parties to come to terms with their behaviors, and make appropriate changes to improve their relationship quality. The expected outcome is to decrease conflicts and tension between the youths and their parents, enhance communication, and solidify their family dynamics’ evolving roles.
Suspension Reduction Program
This program was designed to assist youths struggling in school or receiving frequent suspensions to comply with school rules and regulations. The program will help to identify the underlying causes of their unruly behaviors in school. The program will motivate and empower the youths and parents to ensure their academic success. Parents are required to attend the final class.
Girls Empowerment Group
This program was designed to empower young women to make better decisions in their lives, break stereotypes, and help them recognize the negative impact of friends and media. This program will encourage them to take charge of their lives, develop self-respect, and it will motivate them to take action to achieve their full potential. This program’s expected outcome is to boost self-esteem, help identify career goals, encourage to achieve goals, and produce future leaders in the community.
Boys Empowerment Group
This program was designed to promote young men’s social development to enhance their transition from adolescence and become productive and responsible members of their community. This program will help the youths to improve their interpersonal skills, decision-making skills, and leadership skills. The expected outcome of this program will help them identify their career goals, challenge them to achieve them, and to become future leaders in the community.
